Purpose of the Platform:

  • The Industry Interface platform is provided for recruiting students for graduation projects and full-time employment.

Registration Process:

  • Recruiters must fill in all required details in the online registration link using the login credentials provided by NID after completing the sign-up process.
  • After registration, job descriptions/project briefs submitted by companies will be shared with students, allowing them to register for the company of their choice.
  • Accurate and detailed information must be provided to facilitate the selection of the right candidate.

Student Preferences and Applicant Access:

  • Students will submit their choices/preferences based on the job description, project brief, and company profile provided during registration.
  • Participating companies can view the list of applicants using their login credentials.
  • Each student will upload an online portfolio, and resume via the portal.

Communication and Guidelines:

  • All placement-related communications must go through the placement team at industryinterface@nid.edu.
  • Recruiters must read the placement guidelines document and sponsorship guidelines available on the Industry Interface portal during registration.

Shortlisting Process:

  • It is mandatory for recruiters to shortlist candidates for interviews.
  • The shortlist must be uploaded online using the login credentials by 23rd April, 2025 (5:00 p.m.).
  • Once the shortlist is uploaded on the NID portal, no additional tasks or assignments can be given to students.

Interview Process:

  • All student interviews will be conducted online between 5th May and 11th May, 2025.
  • Each company’s interviews will be completed within one day, between 10:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. as per the day allocated to you.
  • Recruiters must share the shortlist online well in advance as per the timelines.
  • Companies must set up interview links and share them with the assigned placement volunteer.
  • Interviews can be conducted on Zoom (https://zoom.us/) or any platform. Recruiters should ensure familiarity with the platform and maintain a stable internet connection.
  • Each personal interview is limited to 20 minutes per student, with a 10-minute gap between interviews.

Post-Interview Requirements:

  • Recruiters must update the interview status (selected and waitlist with ranking) for each candidate online by the end of the interview day.
  • A scanned copy of the offer letter or interim offer letter (with revised pay, if applicable) must be uploaded to the portal.
  • Recruiters are required to keep a waitlist with at least two candidates per position.
  • No additional interviews or screening tests will be conducted for a selected candidate. Offers made during Industry Interface Week will be considered final.

Compensation Guidelines:

  • Companies must adhere to the pay assured mentioned in the registration form and should not negotiate below the assured emoluments.
  • A higher pay may be offered to deserving candidates. Any increased differential pay must be communicated via email to industryinterface@nid.edu.

Feedback:

  • Recruiters are required to share feedback on the overall Industry Interface recruitment process via email at industryinterface@nid.edu.
